The Buccaneers would love to maintain not only their winning streak but also of all the Tampa sports teams that have had an amazing winning streak in 2020. Inclusive they want to make NFL history as the first home team to play in the Super Bowl in their own home stadium.

As the Bucs get ready to hopefully make history at Super Bowl LV, fans have the chance to represent their team at the Super Bowl Experience (SBX) presented by Lowe's. The NFL's interactive football theme park was planned and temporarily built along the Tampa Riverwalk in downtown Tampa.

The Super Bowl Experience starts Friday, January 29 through Sunday, January 31 and from Wednesday, February 3 through Saturday, February 6 and will follow safety protocols developed by the NFL in partnership with local officials and the CDC. Please note due to Covid-19, NFL is using a reservation system for access into the Super Bowl Experience at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park. As of January 26, all of the reservations have been reserved and there are no additional time slots available. All those that made a reservation, must have the OnePass app downloaded and everyone must be registered before arriving at their session.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFC Champs to play on their own turf for the Super Bowl LV title

And the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are Super Bowl bound. The Buccaneers defeated the Green Bay Packers, 31 to 26 this past Sunday January 24, 2021 in the NFC Championship Game at Lambeau Field In Green Bay, Wisconsin.

The Bucs will be the first home team to play in the Super Bowl in their own home stadium where all their home games are played. They will play against the AFC Champions, the Kansas City Chiefs who defeated the Buffalo Bills 38 to 24, at the decisive 55th Super Bowl game. The game will be televised live on Sunday, February 7 directly from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida starting at 6:30 p.m. ET.

It's the Buccaneers second time playing in the Super Bowl. Of the two games, they won Super Bowl XXXVII January 26, 2003 against the Oakland Raiders. They made to the 2020 playoffs as number five in the NFC. If the Bucs win Super Bowl LV, they will be the fourth team to win after entering the postseason with three straight road match ups.

The excitement of the Tampa Bay fans was evident as fans swarmed the outskirts of Raymond James Stadium immediately after their home team's win and made presence to receive the players at their arrival at Tampa International Airport. To mention, the Buccaneers had requested fans to abide CDC regulations due to Covid-19 and stay home instead.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl bound?

We are hours away from knowing who will be in the 55th Super Bowl to be held in Tampa, FL on Sunday, February 7, 2021. Eyes are set on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to see if history will be made - the Buccaneers being the first team to be in a Super Bowl in their own city.

Good luck to Green Bay Packers and of course my home team the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Want to be a part of Super Bowl LV in Tampa...

In 2021, the Super Bowl is set to return to the Tampa Bay community for the fifth time and here is your chance to be a part of it as an ambassador (volunteer). Ambassadors form an important part of major events and Super Bowl LV is no exception to the rule.

Ambassador tasks will be in various areas of Tampa Bay - Downtown Tampa, Sparkman Wharf, Tampa International Airport, various hotels, transportation hubs, fan events and more. During the week of Super Bowl LV, ambassadors will have front-row seats to the excitement surrounding events related to Super Bowl LV. In addition, they will receive Super Bowl LV ambassador apparel.

All community ambassadors must be 18 years of age by January 1, 2021 in order to complete an application and be willing to submit to a background check. In addition, all ambassadors must be customer service-oriented and willing to work in any area while showcasing beautiful Tampa Bay.

Each community ambassador must attend mandatory training either in late 2020 or early 2021 and work a minimum of three shifts, which are 4 to 6 hours in length, during Super Bowl week January 29 - February 7, 2021.

The health and safety of all involved is top priority. As things change and evolve, adjustments will be made accordingly.

Please Note: Community ambassadors will not receive tickets to the Super Bowl and there will be no ambassador support inside Raymond James Stadium on Super Bowl Sunday.

To register as a Super Bowl LV community ambassador click here.

As a past Super Bowl ambassador, I can share a few things but this time things might be different in which all necessary information will be provided to make your role as an ambassador memorable. Transportation was provided to some events - a meeting place was set up and then ambassadors were transported on a bus and meals were provided. But like I stated, things do change.
